Healthy ginger bread cookies

Super fun for your little one. These ginger bread cookies are made of wholesome ingredients making them the perfect treat for your mini (from about 12+ months), and such a fun activity to do together.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups almond meal

  • 1/4 cup tapioca flour

  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger

  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves

  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

  • tiny sprinkle of sea salt

  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil

  • 1/3 cup pure maple syrup

Method
Preheat oven to 180ºC. Mix all the ingredients together. Roll into ball and place in the fridge for about 2 hours. Take out and put on some baking paper/silicone mat. Roll out, then use cookie cutters of choice to make little shapes. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Cool and enjoy!
